WhatsApp Business Integration
FastLinkIt integrates with the WhatsApp Business Cloud API to send automated notifications via WhatsApp.
What Gets Sent

Quick Setup (OAuth)
- Go to Money > WhatsApp in the sidebar
- Click Connect with Facebook
- Authorize FastLinkIt on Facebook
- Your WhatsApp Business phone number is auto-detected
- Click Send Test Message to verify
- Enable the notification types you want
Manual Setup
If OAuth is not available:
- Create a Meta Business account at business.facebook.com
- Create a Meta Developer app at developers.facebook.com
- Add the WhatsApp product to your app
- Copy your Phone Number ID from WhatsApp > API Setup
- Generate a permanent access token via System Users
- Paste both in the Manual Setup section on
/payments/whatsapp - Click Save Settings then Test Connection

Phone Number Matching
- Bookings: phone number from the booking form
- Payments: looks up customer email in Contacts, finds WhatsApp or Mobile phone type
- Tickets: agent's phone number from their user profile
Phone numbers are cleaned: spaces, dashes, parentheses removed, leading + stripped.
Cost
WhatsApp Business API pricing (charged by Meta, not FastLinkIt):
- First 1,000 utility conversations per month: Free
- After: ~$0.005–0.08 per conversation (varies by country)
FastLinkIt does not charge any additional fee.
