Payment Providers
FastLinkIt supports two payment providers: Stripe and PayPal. Sellers can connect one or both to accept payments for bookings, products, shops, and donations.
Connecting Providers
Go to Payment Providers in the sidebar (under Money section). You'll see two cards:
Stripe
- Click Connect with Stripe to begin Stripe Express onboarding
- Stripe handles all verification and compliance
- Once connected, you can accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- View your Stripe Dashboard for payouts and transaction details
- Display Name: edit your business name (shown on receipts and invoices) — prefixed with
flnk.it |. Also shows the Dashboard Name and Statement Descriptor set during Stripe onboarding (read-only)
PayPal
- Click Connect with PayPal to begin PayPal Commerce Platform onboarding
- PayPal handles merchant verification
- Once connected, you can accept PayPal payments, Pay Later, and Venmo
- View your PayPal Dashboard at paypal.com/merchantapps
How Checkout Works
When a customer makes a payment:
- One provider connected — redirects directly to that provider's checkout
- Both providers connected — shows a selection page with "Pay with Card" and "Pay with PayPal" buttons
Platform Fees
The same platform fee applies to both Stripe and PayPal payments:
- Transaction fee — percentage of the payment amount
- Fixed fee — per-transaction fixed amount
- Money goes directly to the seller's account with the platform fee deducted automatically
Platform Subscriptions
Users subscribing to FastLinkIt plans can pay with either Stripe or PayPal. Both options appear on the pricing page when PayPal is configured.
