Custom Dashboards
Build a dashboard by dragging widgets onto a responsive grid, then share it with a short link. Dashboards are available on every plan.
Create a dashboard
- Open Dashboards in the sidebar (it shares the Pages rail icon) and choose New dashboard.
- Give it a title and a short code — the public link is
flnk.it/d/{short-code}. The code is checked for availability as you type, or click the shuffle button to generate a random one. - Pick a visibility level (see below) and click Create & design.
Add and arrange widgets
In the editor, drag blocks from the Add widget palette onto the grid, or click the + on a widget:
- Text (Markdown), Heading, Image, Link button, Divider, Spacer
- Chart — line, area, bar, pie, donut or radial
- World map — choropleth visualisation
- API — call a URL and display the response as a stat, JSON or template (and feed it into a chart)
Drag to move, drag a corner to resize. Use the Desktop / Tablet / Mobile toggle to fine-tune each device layout — widgets reflow automatically and you can override a widget''s position or hide it per device. Click Full screen for an expanded editing view, then Save.
Visibility
Each dashboard''s short link is governed by its visibility setting (enforced server-side):
| Level | Who can view |
|---|---|
| Private | Only you (and admins) |
| Organization | Members of your organization |
| Registered users | Any signed-in user (read-only) |
| Public | Anyone with the link (read-only) |
Share & edit
Open flnk.it/d/{short-code} to view the read-only dashboard. When you (the owner) open it, an Edit button takes you straight back to the editor. Typing the bare short code also works — it redirects to the dashboard.
